We are looking for a Project Manager
DEADLINE: 11.03.2021
Our team is looking for an experienced project manager to join us from March 2021. This is a freelance part-time (around 2 days/week) position. You will develop a series of engaging and progressive exhibitions, workshops, labs, performances and other events in the field of media arts and digital culture. Working closely with Sensorium’s director and curators, you will independently, proactively and professionally realise the execution of Sensorium’s projects, being a support to the programme and the production manager.
Required skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in project management, event production or similar
- Proactive approach and very well organised work habits, working towards deadlines in a busy workload
- Experience with managing teams
- Ability to independently and consistently create plans, timelines, budgets and task management materials, looking after fulfilling those
- Fluency both in Slovak and English language
- Attention to details
- Ability to conduct a self-coordinated research when needed
- Great personal and communication skills
Appreciated:
- Track record of previous successfully delivered international events in cultural field
- Ambition to professionally develop in the role and the field
- Interest in art and technology
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Strategic management of projects and involved teams
- Communication with partners, public bodies, artists and collaborators internationally
- Conduct appropriate planning ahead of production
- Follow up on all project related communication
- Conducting research on strategic partners, developing new relationships
- Develop and nurture relationships with funding organisations, embassies and cultural centres
- Assist on liaison with potential and existing sponsors
- Write and submit reports
- Attend training and events as relevant
