PJONI

Alongside a wide range of notable side-projects, Pjoni’s solo path has proved to be one of his most successful. His electroacoustic country crossings know no boundaries and bind to no particular (sub)genre. Cello compositions grapple with the tangle of drone-ambient spaces which transfer the sound into the territory of minimalism, dirty electronics, and even into the dark corners of alternative hip-hop. As if the aforementioned genres have always flirted with each other.

Ján Šicko

Ján Šicko is engaged in research and creation in the field of visual communication and new media. In addition to his professional work in the field of graphic design and new media, he runs MediaLab* at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, a laboratory focused on examining the frontier positions of graphic design. His freelance work ranges from animation through VJing to interactive installations and computer games. He has received several awards for his work. In 2009, he founded creative laboratory DevKid.
